  • 2. Maslow is about self-actualization The desire to become everything you’re capable of becoming
  • 3. Self-actualization is at the top of the pyramid a place where you have transient moments
  • 4. Transients moments do have a name we call them our Peak Experiences
  • 5. A Peak Experience is that feeling the feeling of being in your flow
  • 6. A feeling when everything seems to fit together perfectly
  • 7. Moments of ecstasy which cannot be bought, guaranteed or even sought
  • 8. But you can set up conditions so that Peak Experiences are more likely
  • 9. I hear you thinking pretty fascinating stuff
  • 10. But how can I apply this to the motivational truths that define our relationships in the workplace
  • 11. Your reactions on Spirit at Work made me aware of redefining success
  • 12. Success as something more intangible more meaningful
  • 13. Meaningful The idea that we can transform ourselves and the world through the work we do
  • 14. Not focus on what is but what could be
  • 15. In leading that discussion we use the Transformation Pyramid Success Survival

  • 16. Before using this Transformation Pyramid imagine what relationships are for you
  • 17. We have to stop pretending we are individuals that can do it alone
  • 18. Everything in the universe only exists because it is in relationship to everything else
  • 19. And so are the values of relationships in the workplace Habitat: Build together for a better world
  • 20. We call it the Relationship Truths the relational mojo between Employees, Customers and Investors Creating a Unique corporate culture Building an Enthusiastic staff Developing strong Customer loyalty Maintaining a Profitable and Sustainable business
