    • Elena Gomez is a Spanish international gymnast.

    ACHIEVEMENTS:
    • She is the 2002 world champion on the floor exercise in which she was the only one to do a quadruple twist, she was also the first Spanish gymnast to accomplish such an achievement.
    • 5. She represented Spain at the 2004 summer Olympics, where she came 8th place.
    • 6. Sadly Elena was forced to retire because of a chronic injury.
  • 7. ALEXANDRA HUCI
    • Alexandra Huci was a Romanian gymnast.
    • 8. She was born in 1989.
    About her gymnastics life:
    • She was top of the country in her age group.
    • 9. She was a favourite to be in the 2008 Olympics.
    Her last moments:
Alexandra lived in a gymnastics boarding school. One weekend her parents came to visit knowing as they left everything was going good, but it was not as they thought. One day Alexandra was getting headaches, she told her room mates if they could quieten down. Later on, in the training lesson she told her coaches and they took her to the school nurse where she got some tablets but the tablets made her drowsy, she was immediately taken into hospital. Doctors made tests and found she was born with a malformation in her brain, in the hospital Alexandra slipped into a coma, from which, sadly, Alexandra never woke up, she died at the age of 12. But she is remembered by many gymnasts.
