The word science comes fromthe Latin word scientia, which      means, “to know”.
Science is a systematizedbody of knowledge based        on facts.
It explains occurrences throughobjective means, such as observing,    studying and experimenting.
It is a way of learning how         things work.
Is Science Important?
The answer lies rightin front of our eyes.
Think about a worldwithout technology.
No computers, no cars.
No vaccines or cures   for diseases.
Life would be joyless andextremely hard. It was not long  ago that this was the case.
Importance of Science   and Technology
They provide answer tomany questions about  the environment.
They make certain things possible.
They help us to do    our work   efficiently.
They help improvethe quality of life.
