2012 Cross Country

  1. 1. Cluster CrossCountry 2012A mighty challenge!
  2. 2. The Stewart FarmAlbert RdTokomaruFriday 18th MayFirst indication of how rural we were about to get was thenarrow road on which we parked precariously. This wasfollowed by a hike to the covered yards just as the rainbegan to fall.We were all well prepared and stood around admiring theterrain thinking how pleased it wasn’t an adults race. Thecourses were lengthy (no problem), the ground stony in partsand the hills high. This did not deter our athletes who ran theirhearts out and competed till the end. Well done team!!!!Take a look at the results.
  3. 3. Year 1 Boys-1st Place Max
  4. 4. Zac 3rd, Nicolas 4th and Kyan 7th ! What a stunning effort.
  5. 5. Jessie took away the Year 1 girls title. Coming through boys!!!!
  6. 6. Viana 7th, and Ayla finishing with a few battle scars from a huge effort.
  7. 7. Courtney was 1st in the Year 2 girls race with Oscar and Harrison completing in the top 20
  8. 8. The Year 3 Boys fought hardcoming in; Alistair 3rd, Javed 5th and Caleb 6th.
  9. 9. The Year 3 Girls worked hard tocome in the top 10 – Brea, Alena and Marisa.
  10. 10. It was a tough day out for the Year 4 boys with a 2nd, 3rd and 6th place for Sam Curtis and Peregrine
  11. 11. The Year 4 Girls Tilly, Bella andElla, kept going to finish 4th, 5th and 10th respectively.
  12. 12. Jamie, Harry and Zackary did us proudcoming in 1st,7th, 8th in the Year 5 Boys.
  13. 13. As did the Year 5 Girls, Libby in3rd, Rachel 4th and Nadia 7th.
  14. 14. The Year 6 Boys were left gasping on the finish line after huge performance. Douglas 3rd, Alex 10th and Peter 11th.
  15. 15. Year 6 Girls battled on to complete witha 5th and 8th placing for Lily and Ashleigh with Emma not far behind.
  16. 16. Congratulations to all thosewho took part in a trulychallenging Cross CountryEvent. We are all extremelyproud of your achievementsand behaviour at the event.Thank you Parents for your transport and support andespecially for making sure the children in your carewere lined up ready to race.
