The Stewart FarmAlbert RdTokomaruFriday 18th MayFirst indication of how rural we were about to get was thenarrow road on which we parked precariously. This wasfollowed by a hike to the covered yards just as the rainbegan to fall.We were all well prepared and stood around admiring theterrain thinking how pleased it wasn’t an adults race. Thecourses were lengthy (no problem), the ground stony in partsand the hills high. This did not deter our athletes who ran theirhearts out and competed till the end.
