• (12 June 1929 – early March 1945)• Born in the city of Frankfurt am Main in Weimar Germany, she lived most of her life in or near Amsterdam, in the Netherlands. Born a German national, Frank lost her citizenship in 1941 when Nazi Germany passed the anti- Semitic Nuremberg Laws.
• (16 February 1926 – 9 March 1945) was the older sister of Anne Frank, whose deportation order from the Gestapo hastened the Frank family into hiding, and who subsequently perished in Bergen- Belsen.
• (12 May 1889 – 19 August 1980) was a German- born businessman and the father of Anne Frank and Margot Frank.
• (née Holländer; 16 January 1900 – 6 January 1945) was the mother of Holocaust diarist Anne Frank.
The eight people from theAnexe were first taken to aprision in Amsterdam. Then, they were sent to Auschwitz, in Poland.
Mr Van Daan died by gas… His wife was taken to several other concentration camps. Peter had to go on the terrible walk from Poland to Austria. He died three days before the Allies got the camp. Albert Dussel died in a concentration camp… Edith Frank died in Auschwitz
