Wassily Kandinsky
Wassily Kandinsky was a Russian
abstract artist who liked
shapes and colours.
The shapes he was most interested in were
the circle, triangle, and the square.
Our first activity is inspired
by Kandinsky’s Squares
with Concentric Circles
We drew a small circle and then 2-3 circles around the original
circle on a piece of white paper
Next, the kids used
crayons to fill in
the circles.
Finally, they
cut out the
circles and
glued them
on
construction
paper.
