  5. 5. IMPORTANT AUTHORS The Brothers Grimm, Jakob and Wilhelm were German. They published collections of folk tales and fairy tales in Europe. They become famous and today millions of persons read their beautiful stories.
  6. 6. • Many of their stories were only for adults, not for children, so many experts criticized them. Soon, they published a collection of 50 stories for children that became really popular.
