You have now identified your personal and professional qualities and have deepened your awareness of the roles and responsibilities of an empowered Filipino teacher. You have immersed yourself in the reality of the roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities of a beginning teacher; have undertaken the activities and exercises of a morally mature teacher and have gained insights on the framework of teaching for enhancing professional practice through reflection, self-assessment, and planning. By this time you are now ready for a postassessment which serves as a basis for the evaluation of your learning performance. This assessment will form part of your portfolio assessment as a beginning teacher and will be monitored by your principal and department head. Based on your first month’s experience, describe in detail how you handled two or three critical incidents which affected your day-to-day life (physical as well as emotional) but which made you stronger and more determined to become an effective teacher.
