    2. What environmental issues are important to you and your community? What activities are your organization and others doing to help protect animals, forests, rivers, etc.?
    3. What is ? A certification of projects on GlobalGiving which address climate change, either directly or indirectly, in a sustainable manner
    4. What is climate change? Shifts over time in local and Caused by: global climate leading to: •Emissions from cars, factories •Increased flooding & cooking stoves •Longer droughts •Cutting down trees •More intense storms •Inefficient use of energy •Changing growing seasons •Using synthetic fertilizers •etc. •etc.
    5. What is climate change?     7. Are you seeing local effects of climate change? Are people in your community aware of global climate change? Are they concerned?

There are many ways to have a positive climate impact Directly Indirectly • Installing solar panels or • Teaching others about other renewable energy impacts & solutions • Installing solar water • Encouraging policy heaters changes • Planting forests • Preparing for the local • Using sustainable farming impacts of climate techniques change • Using energy more efficiently
    9. What’s the value of GG Green for my project? • Green projects draw more donations(?) • U.S. consumers prefer “green” products • GG making a push to be leaders in this area—which will bring recognition & support from donors and foundations • Campaign this fall featuring Green projects • Special designation on GG.com (sort feature, coming soon) • Featured on our homepage • Improved ranking in search results (coming soon)
