2. What does multidevice classroom mean? A multidevice classroom implies a classroom that students can use whatever device they want to accomplish the lesson at hand. For the purposes of this slide show we will include only "Apps" or websites that are available on Android, IOS and regular Web platforms. We have not included blackberry or Windows7 phones, since these devices are currently being overalled or reintroduced into this market. This is the operating system used by most phones and tablets that are NOT Apple products. Usually the device has access to the Android Market. Some devices like the Kindle or Kobo have limited android markets even if they are Android Devices Ipods and IPad run on this operation system.. It is important to remember that not all Apps found on one platform are available on the other. We are only targeting Cloud based apps in this presentation. Any PC or Mac has access to a standard Web browser allowing your to sync your apps in the cloud.

5. Twitter is a social networking tool that is very adaptable and can be used in a myriad of ways. Below you will find a few video tutorials to explain the basics of twitter. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WPVWDkF7U8 A great way to get students to give their opinion in real time using the device of the ir choice. You can easily create a private channel with your very own channel or hastag. Ex: #myeconomicsclass. Get students to include this in their tweet and everyone will be able to see what they have to say! Do all this in 140 characters or less to explain your opinion! We recommend the Twitter App released by Twitter co. to make things simple. You can use other apps, but to keep it simple use this app.

This website offers a Facebook-similar interface for students to communicate with their teacher and classmates. It is very safe to use in the classroom as the entire website is teacher-moderated. Edmodo is a fantastic option for the classroom as it is interactive and many aspects of a class can be exclusively electronic. Creating a Social Network for your Class

Provide a class calendar Map out important dates on a calendar to help keep students organized and on task.Test dates, assignment due dates, field trips and more can be included in the calendar. 3. Assign homework Provide instructions for assignments and attach any necessary handouts or readings that are required to complete the task. 1. Send messages to the class Teachers and students can post messages with reminders, questions and other important information. The teacher and students can then reply to the messages.
