      • Learning by doing
      • If they can:
        • play videogames
        • use an ATM or remote control
        • program their mobile phone

      • Volunteers operate Live Video Help
      • Mentors intern Mentees
      • Anyone can Volunteer for local events or organizations
      • Everyone gets points
      • Social media the vehicle

    7. First we need to overcome a lot of resistance

    9. Then we have to acclimate user’s to computers and social media
    10. … and make them feel comfortable!
    11. Then we have to get them to participate
    12. … and have fun using computers!
    13. Then we give them the option of choosing their own Job
    14. … and hopefully it’s about something they enjoy!
    15. What kind of jobs can we generate?
      • Our own company: Digital City Mechanics
      • Existing businesses in the region
      • Lots of new Independent jobs
        • Contractors
        • Self Employed
      • New job categories and more existing jobs!
    16. The DCP will create all sorts of jobs…
    17. Associated with putting on Live Events
    18. And Mentoring works really well
    19. Multimedia encyclopedias are coming
    20. The DCP will need LOTS of employees!
    21. The Haves will help the Have Nots!
    22. And we’ll make sure to cover Health!
    23. We’ll do all sorts of viral marketing…
    24. And teach you to run your own network
    25. And feed yourself and your community
    26. Everybody needs great sales people

      • Use the money 3:1 ways:
        • Build out the MM Content and Services
        • Train workers in the skills necessary to do that
        • Create and maintain Open Digital City platform

      • Sits on top of hw, bandwidth, access, machines
      • Open Source for any software developer to use
      • Open Data, Open Services, User utilities

      • Then who’s going to pay for our interactive multimedia encyclopedias?

      • Every Brand has a topic or area of expertise
      • Permanent on-line multimedia content and services will be paid for by governments , foundations and brands who will wish to have THEIR name associated with this content

      • An open platform of software infrastructure is offered to software developers – to build new kinds of solutions on top of that platform
