Magic of Forgiveness
In life, in order to move on in this life you have to make a decision to forgive, as forgiving means
that you are living in the present moment as opposed to the past. It does not mean that you can
forget everything; however it does mean that you can release obstacles and learn to move on.

Forgiveness means you are letting go of your anger against who or whatever has hurt you and in
the process releasing the weight of the past hurt pain and anger you feel. You can finally begin to
heal. I know that when you refuse to offer forgiveness you are the only victim.

The person that has hurt you will not feel the emotions you are feeling, they will not be aware of
how you feel. You always have a choice in being the forgiver or of being the victim! Which are
you?

Constantly reliving your feeling of hurt gives the individual who caused your upset power over
you. Have you heard the old saying ‘it sticks like glue’? This is exactly what happens when you
cling on to hurt, feelings of resentment, bitterness and in some cases deep emotional hatred.

So many areas of your life can suffer, in particularly your health. By holding onto these emotions
and the urge to have revenge, can harm you, when you hold on to them for long periods of time
they then build up and become lodged in your body as stuck energy.

Your defensive thoughts will be running through your head constantly, like a dark cloud,
hovering over you. You will feel as though there is a huge dark cloud of negative energy hanging
over you and thoughts of revenge will be going around your mind in a never-ending cycle. I have
had so many angry people state that the best form of defence is attack.

This is an automatic response to attack whilst being defensive; however this is not the correct
approach; Forgiveness is the key to moving on in life

By not forgiving someone, you may feel that you are getting one over on them or causing them
pain, this is not the case because the only person that you are hurting is yourself. You are
probably thinking I cannot forgive, I will never forgive or I do not wish to forgive. You can, I
know you can because I did.

By you having a very rigid viewpoint, this means that you cannot move on without forgiving.
What you believe to be true in your mind ultimately affects the quality of your well being,
attitude, and your relationships.

If you have been hurt by someone the best way to deal with the hurt you are feeling is to firstly
understand why you are feeling so hurt. If someone has hurt you that you love, for the love and
respect to continue you have to discover ways of bringing closure to the situation that is
acceptable to all concerned.

As human beings we should all have respect for each other and just because you love someone
does not mean that you have to like how they behave. Offering forgiveness does not mean that
you are giving permission for their actions and behaviour. Forgiveness in your heart is what is
required; forgiveness is a course of action for the healing to take place.

The easiest way to deal with a situation is to write a letter to the offender (this is a hugely
powerful way to focus your attention). Setting aside a little time to write it down will help you to
process your emotions, see the problem in a different light and work your way towards a
solution.

Recognise what is positive in the relationship and express forgiveness for the negative part of the
relationship that hurts you. It is of great importance that you allow yourself to express all your
feelings fully. Do not post it or allow the offender see it, this is not a letter to the offender but to
the Universe.

Take the letter outside and burn it thereby sending it out it into the Universe for the healing to
begin to take place. Check out The Magic Of Forgiveness from This RARE Link
