TechTarget and Google Release Report on How IT Professionals Search Online During Purchase Process 97% of IT pros use search frequently during purchase process; 67% click on links of unfamiliar advertisers; 43% read search advertising NEEDHAM, Mass., Oct 22, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Information technology (IT) media company TechTarget, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTGT) today announced the completion of a joint research project with Google examining the online search behaviors of enterprise IT professionals when researching and purchasing technology solutions. The Google/TechTarget research results are based on the participation of over 2,200 IT business and technical decision makers in North America, Europe and Asia who answered over 40 in-depth questions about their online search practices and preferences.
