● Born and lived in Aveiro, Portugal until 1998
● Graduated in Electronics and Telecommunications
Engineering by Universidade de Aveiro in 1994
● Started working with PHP 2 in late 1997
● Wrote book “Estar na Internet” published by
McGraw‑Hill in 1998
● Moved to Bauru, Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1998
● Created the PHPClasses.org site in 1999
