Did You Know? <ul><li>As just mentioned, one pint of blood can save as many as three lives. </li></ul><ul><li>Every year India requires 40 million units of 250cc blood out of which only a meager 500,000 of blood units are available. </li></ul><ul><li>Every two seconds, someone in India needs blood. </li></ul><ul><li>One out of every three of us will need blood in our life time. </li></ul><ul><li>Even with all of today’s technology, there is no substitute for blood. </li></ul>Leadership, Experience & opportunity

Did You Know? <ul><li>60% of donors only donate 1 time per year. </li></ul><ul><li>Persons ages 16 and up can potentially donate blood. </li></ul><ul><li>A person can donate blood every 56-days (about every 2 months). </li></ul><ul><li>A person has 10-12 pints of blood in their body. </li></ul><ul><li>Typically, blood volume is replaced in 24-hours after donation. </li></ul><ul><li>Someone has to give blood in order for someone to receive blood. </li></ul>Leadership, Experience & opportunity
