It moves with the scrolling, whichguarantees the greatest attention.Banner:A form of advertising on the World Wide Web. This form of online advertising entails embeddingan advertisement into a web page. It is intended to attract traffic to a website by linking to thewebsite of the advertiser.Billboard:big banner, comparable to classic billboardsBooklet:A small book or groups of pages.Classified Advertising / Small Ad:Advertising arranged according to the product or service advertised, and usually restricted in sizeand format. On the World Wide Web a ‘page’ request would result from a web surfer clicking on a link on another ‘page’ pointing to the ‘page’ in question. Pop-Up: An advertiser’s pitch that suddenly appears out of nowhere in a separate window on the computer screen while a page loads, and that is superimposed on top of what the website content the user is trying to view. PreRoll Ad: An opener Spot, usually before a video clip Product Promotion: A presentation of a (new) product within a magazine or a website, usually consisting of a short text and a picture. Promotion Card: A reply card in the size of postcards. Push Down Ad: An ad that reacts to input from the user. If touched by mouse, an area flips open that had previ- ously been hidden. Roadblock: Roadblock advertising allows advertisers to own 100% of voice for a given period, usually a day. In other words, an advertising campaign would run exclusively across all the advertising units on a page reinforcing the advertising message. Splitscreen Ad: Advertising spot appears in a window in such a way that two separate images are visible on the screen.
