    • Only Possible in Case of Internal Recruitments
    • There is No PERFECT Interview yet taken place
    1 . Best Person for the Job Gets It
  2. 2 . Interviews are Like School Exams. The more you say, the better you will do. Interviews are more about Interaction and Rapport Simultaneously Attracting SMART Answer. Smart does not mean detailed and precise.
  3. Most of the time, Interviewer is Branch Manager, Regional Manager etc. having other responsibilities too apart from Taking Interviews 3 . Interviewers Know What they are DOING
  4. 4 . Never Say I Don’t Know If You Don’t Know the Answer, better admit to it rather than pretend to know and start waffling.
  5. 4 . Only Good Looking People Get the Job Looks has pretty less relevance against desired Knowledge and Skills.
  6. 6. If you Answer Better Than the Others you get the JOB. Interview is also about convincing the person that you are nice person to work with
  7. 7 . You Should try to Give The Perfect Answer We may end up talking too much in order to give perfect answer. This is deadlock situation.
  8. 8. You Must Ask QUESTION to demonstrate your Interest and Intelligence Asking IRRELEVENT Question can be Harmful. Asking too many question indicates that you are not WELL PREPARED.
  9. 9. Relax and Just Be Yourself Interviews are not Social Engagement. They are Highly Formalized Events
  10. 10. Interviewers are Looking for FLAWS Don’t Be Defensive with this Assumption. Interview is the process to select a person who is the best FIT for the PROFILE. It is not a REJECTION PROCESS.

    • The best person for the job does not necessarily win it – Often it’s the person who give the best interview
    • Interviews are more than just giving technically correct answers. They are also very much about building rapport.
    • Not all Interviewers Know what they are doing; your job is to know how to handle the good and bad interviewer.
    • It is better to be honest and admit ignorance than try to pretend you know an answer.
    • Good looking people wins jobs – May be in Bollywood Movies. Employers are keen to hire talents over superficial factors.
    • Striving to give perfect answer can get you into trouble. It is better to give a good answer, to the point rather than searching for perfect answer.
    • Do not ask question for sake of asking
    • Interviews are formal occasion requiring formal behaviors.
    • Interviewers are more interested in getting overall picture of what you are and not interested in finding your faults.
