So you want the perfect love story ? Empathy, passion, love. This is what Social Media is all about. This is where relationships begin and grow. It’s the perfect place to start an endless love story with your clients. But… SO LOGIC
Don’t start by the endBefore spending moneyon tools and tactics, youwill need an audienceand a strategy to reachout to it. And you mustensure that this strategywill fit your targetedaudience tastes. SO LOGIC
First, you need to dateTo be successful onsocial media, you willneed to seduce youraudience. You must :• Listen• Engage• Measure SO LOGIC
Don’t ask for sex (on the first date) Social Media has nothing to do with commerce. Sales growth will be a consequence of your relationship in social media, not its objective. Your first ROI will be involvement. SO LOGIC
Prepare to show your involvement Engaging requires a movement from both parts. If you want your audience to come to you, you have to come to it too. Do you have what it takes ? SO LOGIC

Step 1 : Accept being alone Forget about fans adders programs or « succeed in SoMe jungle how-tos ». Some can be inspiring. But your business is unique, and so will be your successful social media strategy. You will have to build it from scratch. SO LOGIC
Step 2 : Get a life ! If you want to be attractive, you must know your strengths and weaknesses well. Build a dashboard with your most important KPIs. Include your customers voice and market watch. Think quantity and quality. Keep it simple and share it across your whole organisation. SO LOGIC

Step 3 : Dream your future Think long term. Where do you want to be in the future ? Who will be your ideal customer ? Define your goals and share them to have everybody looking in the same direction. SO LOGIC
Step 4 : Segment your tastes Black or white shirt ? Blondes or brunettes ? Never try to seduce everybody at the same time. Interact with your customers to find the most relevant common interests or characteristics they share. The stronger, the better. SO LOGIC

Step 5 : Go fishing where fishes are Immerge yourself in the web like your targets. Search Google like them, find where they gathers and what they talk about. And do this for all your target segments. SO LOGIC
Step 6 : Offer free hugs Indentify the most involved people, and those ready to engage. Introduce yourself (not your business, yourself). Show them you are here and willing to interact with them. SO LOGIC
Step 7 : Watch your step Now, you know who is attracted by you and why. But it will require time and efforts to reach the light with them. Do it step by step. For each step, set goals that are measurable, within reach and limited in time. SO LOGIC
Step 8 : Tense your muscles Gather the necessary resources to climb the first step. You will need people inside and outside your company, a bit of technology, and an adequate budget. But remember to keep forces for the next step. SO LOGIC
Step 9 : Go out and experimentIt is time to prove yourengagement andcreativity. Take theplunge. Propose ideas,content, actions. Dothings if you feel they willfit.
