This presentation was offered at the EMSB Conference at the Sheraton Laval on August 16, 2013.

How can your staff, especially teachers, take advantage of social media for their ongoing professional development? This presentation was developed to support center and school directors who wish to make social media part of the PD tools in their practice.

  • What % of your staff?What % management staff?Books are cheap, but on a budget, a 16$ book per teacher is more expensive than a Ped day.Conferences: super expensive. Depending on the level of competency of the teacher, the Conference might be very far and even more expensive.University: very expensive and extremely time consumingWorkshops: all in all, pretty cheap thanks to ped days, expensive with hourly paid teachers.
