    • Methodist University Rotaract Club Alumni Dining Room 01/20/12
    • Who we are and what we do We are a Rotary sponsored club who is part of a global effort to bring peace and international understanding to the world. This effort starts at the community level but knows no limits in its outreach. We provide an opportunity for young men and women to  enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development,  address the physical and social needs of their communities,  promote better relations between all people

    • Committees Community service  In charge of organizing at least two projects for the community per year  Chair: Salam Saadi Finance  In charge of organizing fundraisers  Chair: Qendresa Krasniqi Media and Design  Responsible for designing materials used by the club (flyers, handouts, social media updates etc.)  Chair: Lorenzo J. McKenzie

    • Short Recap of Fall 2011 Committee formation Main theme: Pennies for Polio  cc $200 pennies counted  cc $200 from fundraisers  (Trustees Sale, Wristbands, Trick or Treat, Games) Organized and participated in events on and off campus Organized speaker series  Peace and Conflict Resolution  Leadership
    • Goals for Spring 2012 Choose a theme to follow Be more involved in local community  Connect with Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Army, or similar Do even more promotion on campus Do more social activities Participate in conferences Organize another speaker series
    • For the beginning Rotary Leadership conference on January 27, 28, 29  Volunteers needed! Annual Boys and Girls Home Visit  Sunday, February 12, 2012  Lake Waccamaw, NC No more PAIN  Celebrating India’s first Polio free year! Arab Spring speech  Jan 25 at 12pm Scholarships!  Deadline at the end of March
