She is trying to persue this goal as a result of spending a
year in a mental constitution after everyone thought she was
crazy when she claimed she had super-natural powers. This
caused her to feel insane and insecure, like nobody believed
who she was and that her whole life would end up as a huge,
misunderstood lie.
Lauren's flaw is that she over-thinks. Because of being in a
mental institution for her powers, she had time to reflect
and realise how crazy her life has become. Since then, all
she ever does is over-think her situations, making it hard
to be realistic.

grandparents)

E) She has lots of friends from Liverpool, and has only been
living in Cambridge (where Merriweather Academy is) for

F) She is small and pretty. She doesn't wear much makeup
except eyeliner and she is very pale.

making bold claims that she had the power of Air (which of
course we know she does), and trying to jump off a
skyscraper to 'prove she could fly'.
