Penguins the sacrifice - Presentation Transcript

  1. Penguins The Great Sacrifices
  2. The teamwork that these penguins display in order to survive is incredible.
  3. Female penguins lay only one egg, leave incubation to their males and return to the sea.
  4. During four months of incubation,
  5. the male penguin has to resist violent polar storms at times reaching speeds of 100 km per hour.
    • Because it guards the egg, it has no chance to hunt.
  6. In any case, the nearest source of food is at a distance of a couple of days’ journey.
    • Lying for four full months without eating anything, the male penguin loses half of its weight,
  7. but it never leaves the egg. Although it goes without any food for months, it does not go hunting, but resists the hunger.
  8. The female penguin suddenly shows up After the end of four months when the eggs start to crack open,
  9. In the duration, she has not wasted time …
  10. … but worked for her young and stored food for it.
  11. Among hundreds of penguins, the mother easily finds her spouse and offspring.
  12. it is not never confused .
  13. As the mother has constantly hunted in the meantime, it has a full stomach.
  14. It empties its stomach and takes over the job of caring for the young.
  15. The teamwork that these penguins display , brings many questions to man’s mind.
    • Why do the penguins do that sacrifices?
    • Why don’t say any time: “I’m cold. I am not able to stand with this situation. My friends, I’m going!”?
    • Why don’t they think like that: “I’m hungry and I’m leaving now, my friends!”
    • There is only one explanation for this self-sacrifice:
    • God, the Lord of all, in His supreme power has inspired in every creature these acts of self-sacrifice and extraordinary ways of protecting their young.
    • It is God, with His limitless knowledge and eternal power, Who teaches penguins to do these things.

  16. The mutual assistance and solidarity of beings in the universe and the fact that they respond to one another show that all creatures are trained by a single Instructor, are organized by a single Director, are under the jurisdiction of a single Disposer, are the servants of a single Lord.
  17. For through an all-embracing law of mutual assistance, the sun cooks the necessities for the lives of living beings on the earth through a Dominical command,
  18. and the moon acts as a calendar, and light, air, water, and sustenance hasten to the assistance of living beings,
  19. … and plants hasten to the assistance of animals, and animals hasten to the assistance of human beings, and the members of the body hasten to assist one another,
  20. and particles of food even hasten to the assistance of the cells of the body.
  21. This most wise and generous mutual assistance of these beings, and their responding to one another's needs
  22. and their supporting and strengthening one another, under a law of generosity, a law of compassion, a law of mercy…
  23. … show clearly and self-evidently that they are the servants, officials, and creatures of a sole, unique Single One of Unity,
  24. a Peerless Eternally Besought One, an Absolutely Powerful, Absolutely Knowing, Absolutely Compassionate, Absolutely Generous Necessarily Existent One.
