  3. 3. Background<br />Steelcraft, Ingersoll Rand.<br />Produce steel frames and doors. <br />Complete assembly process in plant.<br />Doors produced from raw sheet metal.<br />Formed and assembled to different specifications and orders.<br />
  4. 4. Problem<br />Doors formed incorrectly at brake press.<br />Door thickness is consistently formed out of tolerance.<br />Increases production costs.<br />Produce new part<br />Rework <br />Slows production. <br />Produces poor quality product. <br />
