This year, the VA will spend $3.2 billion to prevent and reduce homelessness among veterans. $500 million going to homeless programs and $2.5 billion to medical services.
In March of 2011, the U.S. Chamber of Commercelaunched a new program: Hiring Our Heroesa nationwide initiative to help veterans andmilitary spouses find meaningful employment.
