  1. 1. Puerto Madryn Good afternoon , our names are:Lucas, Gustavo,Exequiel and Luciano, we are going to be your guide in this tour. It´s 10 o’clock . We’ll stop at 10:30 so you can use the rest rooms,and go to any kiosk to buy something.We’ll stop at 10:45, and at 11 o’clock we’ll be returning to the hotel. Any questions?
  2. 2. Geography:Puerto Madryn is one of the most important resorts of Patagonia and the country.
  3. 3. Madryn is located in the province of Chubut on the Argentine sea coast.Between parallels 42 and 41 and themeridians 65 and 66. It is 17 meters above sea level.
  4. 4. Climate:• It’s semi-desertic, with annual rainfall between 150 and 200 mm.
  5. 5. History• In what is now Madryn Tehuelche’s settlements were located. They were people of great physical size, dedicated to hunting, fishing and fruit collection.
  6. 6. Then, in 1865…• The Welsh arrived, of which some of them stayed here in Madryn,drinking water that was brought in the ship named “La Mimosa”, and another group went to what is now Chubut river
