    • The Coral Triangle is the global centre of marine biodiversity:
      • it holds 75% of the world’s coral species 6 of the world's 7 marine turtle species 3,000 marine fish species
      • it is composed of a 6-million km2 ecosystem spanning Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Timor Leste and the Solomon Islands
      • this region fuels economies and supports the livelihoods of more than 100 million people.
      • this beautiful and unique area is threated by deforestation, climate change and unsustainable fishing practices
