Realistic Indian Paintings By S.Ilayaraja Presentation Transcript

  • 1. Mr. S Ilayaraja is a young emerging artist from Tamil Nadu, Southern India. He paint realistic figures where light and shades play a significant role. To me, His works resembles the legendary Indian painter Raja Ravi Varma. Born on 19th April, 1979, he completed Masters degree in painting from Govt College of Fine Arts, Chennai. He is specialized in Oil Paintings, Water Color Paintings, Acrylic Paintings, Photography etc. In 2009 he participated in one man show called 'Dravidian Women' presented by Mrs. Dhanlakshmi Fordyce in association with Abstract art gallery which brought him a lot of name and fame. Tamil Weekly "Ananda Vikatan" played a great role in introducing him to common man. Some of his works are shown below. Hope you will like them and enjoy :)
