    AIMS: This module is intended to equip students to assess, develop and reflect on those key transferable, personal and academic skills that are critical for progression and success in future employment and/or study. Students will be supported in diagnosing their skills and knowledge and in developing personal development plans.

It holds all persons assigned to a task accountable and gives a clear timeline of action items. An action plan simply states specific tasks or assignments to be met, who will complete the task, when the task will be completed, and to what degree. Before your meeting is dismissed make sure everyone is clear as to his or her assignment. After the meeting, email the action plan to participants as a friendly reminder of what is expected.

    PPD - Task 1Personal Development Plan: 60 %Your personal development plan will comprise of the following individual tasks that you are required to submit in full for assessment. The percentages are an indication of the amount of effort to be put into each piece of evidence.Personal learning plan to address areas of weakness – 5%Research into target companies for employment – 10%Creation of CV and personal statement – 10%Costing exercise 1 – 5%Business plan for funding 1st year in employment – 10%Reflection on self-promotion strategies – 20%Total 60%

    PPD - Task 2Portfolio Presentation of Practical Work – 40%Your portfolio presentation will comprise of a selection of work from your practical studies supported by your project evaluation sheets.EvidencePersonal portfolio of work produced in addition to practical modules (min 10 images) - 10%Project evaluation sheets – 30% Your project evaluation sheets should be completed as each individual project ends. The sheets should provide detailed and considered information on:  Equipment, techniques and materials used Full costing calculations of materials, props, hourly rates, profit and VATFull evaluation of practical work in terms of what was required by each particular brief
