  • LogotypeThe logo must always be clearly visibleand positioned so as to endorse allprinted literature. In order to maintain itsintegrity, the logo must never be altered, distorted or adjusted in any way ,eitherdigitally or photomechanically. 1xAlways print the logo at 300 dpi using vector artwork toavoid pixellation. Using vector logos will also allow you toprint to any size.Exclusion zoneThe Reuters logo requires a set ratio of clear spacearound it to ensure that it is always distinct from othergraphic elements. In print applications, the space is defined by the measureof X, equivalent to the height of the roundel.Adhere to this rule, regardless of the size at which thelogo is reproduced.Minimum sizeThe logo must never be reproduced at sizes less than25mm in width. This is the absolute minimum necessary toensure that Reuters is readable and the dots of our logowill not fill in. 25mm Reuters Creating on-brand communications – April 2006 / issue 1.0 3
