An easy to follow guide to getting your video downloads direct to your iPad.
If you have a PC or Mac we recommend you download to there then transfer the unzipped video files to your iPad through iTunes.

  • 1. How to download Animated Lesson video clips directly to your iPad
  • 2. We recommend that you download the video clips toyour PC or Mac computer and unzip the files thererather than direct to your iPad.However, if you have no option then please follow thesteps in this guide.
  • 3. We will send you a Dropbox link via email.Clicking on this link will take you directly to a personalised foldercreated for you in our Ideas4ADIs Dropbox account.You can, if you wish, download the Dropbox app and create yourown account. Dropbox is a brilliant free cloud sharing app.Download the free app ‘FileApp’ (Documents & Files Reader)from the App Store.
  • 4. Your Dropbox folder will look like this.Your folder nameZipped video files
  • 5. Tap on the first zipped file Tap the ‘Download’ buttonADL0001_Moving_Off.zip. Then tap ‘Direct Download’ You will then notice the blue fill in the address bar (circled) at the top of the screen as the file downloads
  • 6. Once downloaded, you will see this screen. Tap ‘Open in FileApp’
  • 7. You will briefly see this screen as FileApp opens
  • 8. Once FileApp opens you will see the downloaded zip fileTap the zip file icon
  • 9. A pop-up request will open. Tap the ‘UnZIP’ button
  • 10. You will then see a separate folder appear with the same name as the zipped fileNew folderappears, ADL001_Moving_Off
  • 11. Tap this folder and a second folder will appear with the same name as the previous.Another folderappears, ADL001_Moving_Off
  • 12. Tap this folder and 3 separate folders appear.3 folders appear namedMoving_Off_Hazards, Manoeuvreand Observations
  • 13. Tap on the first folder and a video file will appear.Video file appearsMoving_Off_Hazards Then tap this button
  • 14. Tap the home button. Tap the Home button
  • 15. Tap on the ‘Files’ folder and you will see the video file has been moved here.Files folder
  • 16. Your unzipped video file has now been stored here.Moving_Off_Hazardsvideo file has beenmoved to here.
  • 17. Tap the Home button again and then ‘Imported Files’. Tap the Home button Then select ‘Imported Files’.
  • 18. Go back to the video folders and repeat the process.Tap the ‘Back’ button to get back to the 3 video folders screen Tap the next video folder and repeat the process from slide 12 for each video clip
