About I build tools and communities around our relationship with books and digital. I’m the founder of PressBooks, an open source online book publishing tool; and the founder of LibriVox -- the world’s largest publisher of free, public domain audiobooks, all produced by volunteers. I started or help start a few other initiatives over the years, including: iambik audiobooks, Book Oven, Bite-Size Edits, Collectik, earideas, and BookCamps in Toronto, Montreal, NYC and Melbourne.
I’m the co-editor (with Brian O’Leary) of "Book: A Futurist’s Manifesto -- Essays from the bleeding edge of publishing" (O’Reilly).
Specialties: The intersection of books and the internet.
