  • Google was created by Larry Page and Sergey Brin who met @ Stanford University in 1995. In 1996 they built a search engine that was initially called BackRub, that used links to determine the importance of individual webpages. Later Larry and Sergey named the search engine they created, “Google”.
  • Google was discovered in 1998.
  • Google’s main purpose is to organize the world’s information plus make it universally accessible and useful for everyone.
  • Google hasover 42 products they use! Which is… beneficial, but can be scary @ the same time.
  • Google web search allows you to search billions of web pages.The toolbar adds a search box to your browser.Chrome is a browser built for speed, simplicity and security.And Google Bookmarks allow individuals to access bookmarked items.
  • Google Mobile permits Google products on folks mobile phone.Google Search for mobile allows individuals to search Google wherever no matter their location.Maps for mobile lets people view maps, the location and get directions on individuals phone.
  • YouTube allows you to watch, upload and share videos.Google Books lets you search the full text of books.Google news searches thousands of new stories.Picasa, lets you find, edit and share your photos.
