The avocado fruit--yup it is a fruit and is actually closely related to the banana--is one of the
healthiest foods in the world and definitely makes the cut as a "superfood." Commonly found in the
cuisine for countries in warm climates, avocados are probably most well known for being the key
ingredient in everyone's favorite Super Bowl Sunday dip--guacomole!
