Zigbee Based Remote Monitoring of Instrumentation ParametersAim: This project is used to scan the instrumentationparameters in a process through Zigbee TechnologyWhat is Zigbee:The name "ZigBee" is derived from the erratic ziggingpatterns many bees make between flowers when collectingpollen. This is evocative of the invisible webs of connectionsexisting in a fully wireless environment.. ZigBee is the nameof a specification for a suite of high level communicationprotocols using small, low-power digital radios based on theIEEE 802.15.4 standard for wireless personal area networks(WPANs), such as wireless headphones connecting with cellphones via short-range radio. The technology is intended tobe simpler and cheaper than other WPANs, such asBluetooth. ZigBee is targeted at radio-frequency (RF)applications which require a low data rate, long battery life,and secure networking.Project Description: Our project is a working model which incorporates sensors to measure Various Paramters from a remotely located unit through wireless. This enables us to view and track the online changes

One of the main advantage of this project is it allows us to view all the parameter readings simultaneously on the screen. The Graph drawn on the screen keeps on tracking the changes on the parameter. It also supports Background Processing of the Parameters. 1. Temperature 2. Flow 3. Level 4. pH 5. Conductivity Software: Software Compatibility with ‘C’ and VisualBasic.
