Eye ball Sensor for automatic Wheel Chair for paralysed patients This intellichair is designed to help the paralysed person whomoves on a wheel chair, instead of the handicapped person moves thewheel chair by his hand, the chair will automatically move to aparticular direction as the patient moves his eyes towards a direction,with the help of Eye ball movement detection sensor. The chair willalso sense the obstacles in front of it and gives a beep sound. Thedetails regarding the construction of this chair includes the followingModel: A prototype model which symbolizes the wheel chair isconstructed using the MS SheetMaster Controller: A pic Micro controller will act as a master controller for themovement of the robot. It is responsible for all the decisions taken bythe robot.Eye ball Movement Sensor: This is used to sense the movement of the eye ball’s direction andconverts it into digital data and transfers it to the Master controller.(Straight Command, Left/Right Command, Stop Command)Electronics BoardsOptoCoupler With Stepper Driver Board.
  • 2. The need of Optocoupler is to isolate the Interface Board formthe Stepper Motor to restrict any high voltage to the Interface board.And this board also contains stepper Driver circuit to amplify theVoltage and to withstand high current because the pulse coming outfrom the Interface is not tough enough to drive the Motor.Stepper Power Supply. This board contains the power Supply for the stepper motor andrelay driver.Sensors for Artifical Intelligence The Art of putting some human brain into a Machine is ArtificialIntelligence. Sensors are provided to achieve this task. For Eg. Therobot and position itself when it finds some obstacle in its path, orFlame or hot Materials.Software Driver in Hitech C This is a software tool used to control the angular position i.e., tosend specified pulses with controlled timing to vary the speed as whenand where required.
