Remote Switching System for home appliances


In past days Infrared and cable Synchronizing were used instead of Bluetooth. The major drawbacks in these two are in infrared the TX and Rx have to be lined up with each other, Interference between devices is uncommon. The cable synchronizing is a little more troublesome than infrared. So to overcome these problems RF Wireless Transmitter & Receiver Modules were Used.

Description of the Project:
This project is used to automate the house and the same can be applied to an industry also. This project has a provision for Switching of house hold devices like Fan, Tube lights, Televisions etc through telephone from a remote handheld device from anywhere in the house. This is achieved with the use of an Embedded Microcontroller and a RF TX and RX Module. The handheld device has a keypad which is used to switch on or switch off a device.
