Distribution of Attack The Block
• StudioCanal's British distribution company
Optimum Releasing released the film in the
United Kingdom on 11 May 2011.
• Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions acquired
this film's United States distribution rights,and
film was screened in limited theatrical release in
the United States.
• US distributors were concerned that American
audiences might not understand the strong
South London accents. Consequently, some the
screenings had subtitles.
• The film was released on DVD and Blu-ray Disc in
the UK and in the US.
• Sold on Amazon and Play offered an exclusive
Blu-ray and DVD double play edition, with a
glow-in-the-dark sleeve.
• A rap song called "Get That Snitch“, original to
the movie was available to listen on the DVD
bonus and on YouTube

• DVD and Blu-ray disc released in the fourth
quarter of 2011.
• The NTSC home release for the film was released
on September 30, 2011, with a Blu-ray 3D version
of the film slated for release in "the coming
