    • Working Hard for Neighbors
      In the wake of a tragic fire in 2004, Lynn rallies the community to take action in support of the family who lost everything and bring about change.

    • The Budzilo Family lost their home, all of their possessions, and two beloved pets in the house fire.
      Lynn was instrumental in getting fellow community members to call for correcting the problem that caused the fire while spearheading a donation effort for the Budzilo’s.

    • The actions that Lynn took resulted in hydrants being checked for adequate water flow. 37 hydrants in Erie County were found to have flows below firefighting standards.

    • Lynn took to the streets to raise over $2,000 in donations to the Budzilo’s as well as many other household items.

    • Lynn was also able to get Sabres memorabilia for the Budzilo’s son who lost all his hockey collectibles in the fire. Included were items signed by the legendary French Connection.
    • Life begins to return to normal for the Budzilo’s and water lines to hydrants are replaced.

    • This experience was a defining moment in Lynn’s life and has had a large influence on her decision to run for elected office. She is dedicated to make the community a better place and is committed to work hard for you, just as she has for her neighbors.
