About us Professional and Noncredit Education strives to bring the best of Oregon State University to people of all ages and industries through quality continuing education programming: short courses, certificate programs, workshops and more. As a part of the Division of University Outreach and Engagement, we work with our sibling units - Extended Campus and Extension Service - to extend Oregon State’s prestige as a teaching and research university to learners of all ages. Types of programs Courses Offerings range from self-paced online classes to extensive onsite series to hybrid onsite/online options Continuing Education Units Earn continuing education credit (CEUs) and apply the knowledge to your career Certificates In-depth, cost-effective programs suited for professionals looking to develop skills without enrolling in a full degree program K-12 Programs Onsite programming designed especially for the younger learner FAQ’s Q: I’m not a student at Oregon State. Can I register for a course without enrolling at the university? A: You do not need to be an Oregon State student to enroll in one of our continuing education course offerings. Q: When and where are courses offered? A: Programs are offered at various times throughout the year and are delivered through onsite instruction, online learning modules or a hybrid of both onsite and online. Q: How much does a course cost? A: You can find cost information for each course on pne.oregonstate.edu.
