  • Numbers & Number Word Cards ~ 1-50 ~ Preparation: Laminate and cut out each card for students to use for years to come.  Suggested Uses: Placing in order (counting both forward and backward)  Matching numbers with number words  Placing in order ~ Skip counting (i.e. by 2s, 5s)

  • Math Mats Preparation: Laminate for students to use for years to come. Have students use with number & number word cards. For the even and odd mats, students are find and place cards appropriate for each mat. For ‘Count it out’ mats, give students a number or number word card and counters. Students are to count out the appropriate number of counters to match a specific number or number word card.

  • Skip Counting Cards Preparation: Laminate and cut out each card for students to use for years to come. Give students 1 set of cards (2s, 5s, or 10s) and have them place the cards in sequential order.

  • Shape Concentration ~ Memory Game Preparation: Laminate and cut out each card for students to use for years to come. Students can play this memory game with all shapes or with one set of shapes and the matching shape name cards. Turn over cards face down on the table, turning over two at a time. If the two match, the set is kept and the player takes another turn.. If a match is not made, the cards are turned back face down and the next player takes his/her turn. Continue until all matches have been made.
