Meyers Institute for College Preparation (MICP) Programming -serve as teaching assistants in four math sessions for 8 th and 10 th graders with a reorganized level based curriculum Schedule Saturday 9:30am – 12:00 pm Academies hosted in the Walsh Building Future opportunities -more involvement with restructure of programming and curriculum -hosting GUMSHOE led math classes and review sessions

    • 11. <ul><li>Training Sessions </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Must attend at least 2 training sessions/semester </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Partnerships: Kaplan, Teach for America, Academic Resources Department, etc. </li></ul></ul><ul><li>Attendance </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Cannot miss more than two tutoring sessions/semester </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Must be punctual </li></ul></ul>Commitment

Board Positions Available in 2009 <ul><li>Site Coordinator (2 positions) </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Each will supervise one GUMSHOE site and lead all co-curricular development with the school </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Strongly preferred if able to accompany tutors to the site (Thurs OR Friday OR Saturday) </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Must have been active in Spring 2009 </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Time Commitment: 3-4 hours/week </li></ul></ul>
    • 13. National Museum of American History Docent Flexible Schedule Indicate interest on application
    • 14. Consortium Ambassadors Program <ul><li>Visit D.C. high schools to talk about college experience and admissions </li></ul><ul><li>Flexible Schedule (volunteer as able) </li></ul><ul><li>Indicate interest on application </li></ul>
