  • 2. Pyramids are the tombs that they buried the pharaohs. The pyramid was made from clay and a special type of mud and sand.
  • 3. Mummies are people that were mummified when they died. This is a female pharaoh called Hatshepsut. she ruled ancient Egypt as both queen and king nearly 3,500 years ago
  • 4. This is the coffin of king Tut . The size and weight of the coffin is1.36 tons or 3,000 pounds.
  • 5. This it king Tuts mummy.
  • 6. Pharaohs are like kings. But the people believed that the pharaoh was more than a man and that he was a god. This gave him control over the affairs of the Empire and the people.
  • 7. In ancient Egypt they believed that cats were gods
  • 8. A mastabas is a place were they buried the higher ranked people.
  • 9. A Sphinx is a mythological figure which is depicted as a recumbent lion body with a human head. The Great Sphinx of Egypt is the largest and best known Sphinx made
  • 10. This is the jars they put the kings organs inside when they are being mummified
  • 11. The four jars are the baboon, falcon. Jackal and the man
