  • A person is killed every half-hour from drunk driving. What can the police and yourself do to make sure you and others are not the next one to die?

  • If you know that you need to drive to home, know your limits and have the power to stop drinking. If you want to go out and have a good time then have a designated driver that night or take enough money for a cab to get you home. Don’t risk your life.
  • Each year 16,000 people die from drunk driving related accidents. We need to improve state laws and regualtions to have the number of deaths drop.
  • Spending $15-20 on a cab fair will be well worth it at the end of the day. Getting home safe is better then risking your life, and the passengers life.
  • It was reported that 181 children’s lives were lost from drunk drivers.
  • You not only change and affect your life but you also change a family’s life forever. They also lost a loved one, brother, sister, daughter or son will never come home.
  • Harming or taking somebody’s life involved in a DUI, you have to live with the guilt for the rest of your life.
  • Getting a dui leads to more problems, you need to hire a lawyer which will cost you money, and also need to pay the court fees and the lawyers fees. Most DUI leds to vechicular manslaughter.
  • If you get to many DUI, a judge can suspend or take away your license for a certain amount of time.
  • Only you know what your limit is when drinking, be smart enough to know when to stop and know when enough is enough.
  • Make states give mandatory classes to anybody turning 21, then have to re-take the class every 4 years. If young adults learn the real dangers from drinking and driving that might scare them and could scare them not to do it.
  • If young adults meet victims who either drove drunk or who were hit by a drunk driver they are able to see first hand how it can change your life in a split second. They can see the real danger of driving drunk.
  • If a police officer is waiting at the bar on their busy weekends that are able to stop the drunk driver before they able to get in their car and start driving. They can just call a cab for them to get home.
  • If bartenders know when to stop serving a customer and have the club or bar partner up with a local taxi service, both company’s will be doing their part in helping to save lives.
  • Always before going out plan out who your designated driver will be for the night.
