    4. Mada Tongue is a clothing brand that makes fun of the way South Africans speak English by printing T-shirts with illustrations, incorporating words and phrases that are often mispronounced.  
    5. This brand has been very well received by the South African public and media. Within just a few weeks after our launch, we received over 450 responses on our FACEBOOK page, we got an unsolicited interview from METRO FM and community radio stations, we also currently have top comedians like DAVID KAU and KEDIBONE MULAUDZI wearing our brand and wanting more of it.

    7. Unlike many of our competitors, MADA TONGUE is not a youth brand. MADA TONGUE is a mind set and appeals to anyone who understands this specific style of humour. T-shirts have been sold to both young and old, black and white, local and international people. It’s the humour that gets our market buying the product.

The MADA TONGUE brand’s point of difference lies in MADA TONGUE’s use of Our brand’s point of difference lies in our use of South African humour, words and phrases that people have been using for a long time. This is accompanied by well-rendered images to add appeal. The MADA TONGUE brand is fresh and unique in that it never makes use of anything profane, vulgar or crude as other brands do in a desperate attempt to make a statement.

    18. Rage is an interactive online entertainment news magazine that covers all genres of South African music, media, fashion, literature and more; with regular contributions to the Mail & Guardian. 
    19. Palesa Brown of rage.co.za wrote, "...I hope it becomes an iconic range that represents South Africa world wide."  
    20. Metro Fm's DJ Azania discovered the MADA TONGUE brand on the rage.co.za website. This prompted the DJ to conduct an unsolicited interview that served to shed light regarding the themes and future plans of the MADA TONGUE BRAND. Metro Fm is the largest national commercial radio station in South Africa with over 3.1 million listeners.  
    21. The MADA TONGUE brand was then mentioned on TUKS Campus Radio in Pretoria who came to know about us through Metro Fm's unsolicited interview. TUKS then conducted an unsolicited interview themselves.
    22. The highly popular Yfm radio station has also made numerous mentions of the MADA TONGUE brand since the stickers and other such branding paraphernalia has been available. Yfm is a regional radio station that has made the youth market its very own. They reach 1 865 000 listeners in the Gauteng region who are in the 16-34 year old age demographic.
    23. MADA TONGUE made its first appearance at a high profile fashion event at the SA Fashion Week. It received a tremendous response from the buying public and media.

    25. Following the success of SA Fashion week, we were approached by an excited SA FM to do an interview.
    26. 702 Talk Radio responded to the election campaign that MADA TONGUE embarked on during the 2009 South African national elections. This was done by placing stickers over the mouths of all popular political leaders who were campaigning for the South African presidency.

    28. The hype continued to elevate when the Mail & Guardian newspaper ran an article which continued the discussion regarding the MADA TONGUE election campaign called, Battle of The Lamp Posts - Apr 14 2009.
    29. MADA TONGUE is also taking full advantage of the digital networking and advertising domain. Good use of this medium has been made on facebook.com , where a MADA TONGUE page has been created. The number of subscribers is in excess of 650 - this is a 50% increase since the beginning of September 2009. Subscribers are from all walks of life and are representative of the eclectic mix of cultures that constitute the South African population. The MADA TONGUE facebook page also has subscribers from England, France and the USA, to name a few.

    31. At present, MADA TONGUE has been approached by Lesedi Fm and Palaphala Fm who have shown great interest in the development and progress of the MADA TONGUE brand. Both national radio stations have requested that MADA TONGUE notify them regarding all new developments in progress.
