The background image is of clouds. I chose this image because I feel that comedies have a very light hearted feel to them, and clouds to me have a calm and laid back quality to them. The black and white image is of a young couple clearly in love. This relates to my theme of romance, and how I want my film to feature some sort of romantic theme between the two lead characters. The family in the middle are actually from a film called 'Meet the Fockers'. I really enjoyed watching this film, and the genre of it is something that I am extremely interested in. The man and woman on the right are also from a film titled 'Along Came Polly'. This film is also a Romantic Comedy, which is why it appealed greatly to me. They are also a couple, again appealing to me because of my interest in romantic films. I also added the text on Adobe Photoshop. Romantic Comedies (or 'Rom Coms') are my favourite genre of film, yet 'Romance' and 'Comedies' when put separately are two completely different films. That is why the text I chose for each of these words appear to look extremely different. For the word 'Romance', I chose a script font called Palace Script MT, which is very elegant and sophisticated. The font I chose for the word 'Comedy' is Goudy Stout. This font is quite the opposite. The letters are a lot darker and bolder, and the lines that make up each letter are of different thicknesses. This gives it quite a comical look, which is why it appealed to me. Moodboard This is my mood board, which is small collection of some images I feel relate to the genre of the type of film I am interested in. I created this moodboard in Adobe Photoshop.
