  8. 8. Day One<br />The Trip Begins!<br />
  9. 9. Day One<br />Depart Louisville at 7 AM<br />Have an awesome road trip!<br />Arrive in New Orleans at approximately 7 PM<br />Check into hotel<br />Go out to eat! Mmm, some NOLA food!<br />
  10. 10. Day Two<br />The Shopper’s Dream!<br />

Day Two<br />Get up bright and early for some great shopping at the Old French Market!<br />Short walk to eat at the world-famous Café du Monde (« Bon Appétit ! »)<br />Then it’s off to Royal Street and Bourbon Street for some more great shopping!<br />Finally, we end the day with dinner at Louisiana Pizza Kitchen.<br />

  14. 14. Day Three<br />Rise and Shine! We’re off to the Musée Conti Wax Museum!<br />Afterwards, a light lunch at Croissant d’Or. Mmm!<br />Next on our list is the beautiful Beauregard-Keyes House, with some of the finest botanical gardens in all of New Orleans!<br />Not scared? Well you will be when we go to the New Orleans Historic Voodoo Museum!<br />

Day Three<br />After our museum questing, we’ll finish up with a “small” meal from Café Maspero!<br />When our bellies are full after are sumptuous feast, it’s off to Frenchman Street for a night of music, dancing and fun!<br />When we’re all tuckered-out, back to the hotel to get rested for day four!<br />
  16. 16. Day Four<br />Our first day out of the French Quarter…<br />
  17. 17. Day Four<br />We’ll start our day a little later today, for you late-sleepers! At 10 AM, we’ll arrive at The New Orleans School of Cooking, were we’ll be instructed on how to make traditional créole cooking, like Gumbo, Jambalaya, Bread Pudding and Pralines…then we’ll eat it!<br />Afterward, FREE DAY! I’m sure we’ll find some stuff that we want to do. Now’s the time to do it!<br />

  19. 19. Day Five<br />Good morning, art lovers! It’s off to view the home of one of the greatest Impressionist painters: Edgar Degas!<br />Quick lunch—fast-food eatery chosen democratically!<br />After we eat, we’re off to the New Orleans Museum of Art. The best part? It’s free today! Now, I wonder if they have anything by Degas…<br />
  20. 20. Day Six<br />I LOVE ANIMALS!<br />
  21. 21. Day Six<br />Rise and shine! Leaving by 10 AM, we have a choice: the Aubudon Zoo, Aquarium, or Insectarium!<br />Afterward, dinner at a spontaneously chosen restaurant!<br />Another night out on the music scene, kickin’ back, and laisser les bons temps rouler!<br />Back to the hotel for some much deserved sleep!<br />

  23. 23. Day Seven<br />A nice day of relaxation at the hotel. You know you’re going to be tired after all that running we’ve been doing for the past six days!<br />Time to get all gussied-up for dinner! We’re off to the famous Arnaud’s for a spectacular dinner to celebrate our trip! (Be warned—it’s a bit pricey!)<br />

We’ll keep our eyes and ears peeled for some fun things!<br />After dinner, we’re off to a frightfully fantastic ghost tour of the Big Easy, with Bloody Mary as our guide! Eeeeek!<br />After the tour, we’re off to live it up on Bourbon Street! Party time!<br />

  27. 27. Day Nine<br />Thus ends our stay in the Big Easy. We’ll be out of the hotel by 9 AM and say our final farewells to the New Orleans that we’ve come to know over the past week, taking with us memories that will last a lifetime!<br />We’ll arrive back in Louisville by 10 PM; home sweet home!<br />
