Kayaking assessment and you <ul><li>You will need to know: </li></ul><ul><ul><li>Explain communication signals when shown. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Describe features which make up a grade 2 rapid and what white water is harder. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>How to swim through a rapid. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>How to scout and paddle a grade 2 rapid. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>How throw bag rescues work. </li></ul></ul>
  3. 3. <ul><li>In pairs or threes read through your assigned A3 sheet. </li></ul><ul><li>Come up with 5-7 questions, write them around the outside of the information sheet. </li></ul><ul><li>Groups to move around each A3 sheet and try to answer the questions in their own books. </li></ul><ul><li>Review of answers. </li></ul>Kayak round robin Q’s & A’s
