  • 13. The SMART KEY system is a system that allowsusers to access and operate a vehicle in a veryappropriate way. To access the vehicle, it is notnecessary nor traditional key or the remote control.The user wears a SMART REMOTE that requires noconscious action by the user (for example, press theRKE). The system is activated SMART KEY pressed abutton on the door handle.Upon activation, the vehicle sends a request to alimited distance. If the SMART REMOTE receivesthe request, automatically sends a response to thevehicle. Then, the system decides whether toperform a particular action (lock, unlock ...) or remaininactive.Again, you need a communication between the vehicleand the SMART REMOTE before carrying out anyaction.

Change the oil filter.(a) Remove the oil filter.(b)Check and clean the mounting surface of the oilfilter.(c)Check the part number of the new oil filter is thesame as the old.(d)Apply clean engine oil to the gasket of a new oilfilter.(e)Screw lightly oil filter in place, and tighten until thegasket contacts the seat.(f)Apply the torque below.

If wear exceeds the limit, replace the disc padsand both the left and right sides of the vehicle.Checking the brake pad1. Check the pad wear. Measure the thickness of thepad and replace if less than the prescribed value.Thickness of tabletStandard value: 11 mm (0.433 in.)Service Limit: 2.0 mm (0.0787 in.).2. Check for damage to the pad, the back metal andgrease contamination.Checking wear of front brake disc1. Place a graduated gauge of about 5mm (0.2 inch) atthe outer circumference of the brake disc and discwear measuring.
