  • The climate of France is generally temperate. However, due to influences continental, oceanic and the Mediterranean, France has a great diversity of types of weather. France has three main types of climate: Oceanic, Continental and Mediterranean. Much of France is in an area subject to the influence of the Atlantic Ocean, just south and is subject to the Mediterranean climate.
