    2. What is it?
      • Most Significant Change technique
      • is
      • a form of participatory M&E
    3. Making it work in five steps
      • Collect stories from the field
      • Analyse the stories in a group (it can be project stakeholders, project team, country office team, multi-aim group, etc)
      • Reach consensus (within the project team) about the most significant changes reflected in the stories analysed
      • If necessary , adjust project or organisational policy accordingly
      • Feedback project stakeholders about actions taken and lessons learned
    4. COLLECTION OF STORIES
      • Looking back over the last month, what do you think was the most significant change in [particular domain of change]?
    5. GROUP ANALYSIS OF STORIES
      • From among all these stories, what do WE think was the most significant change of all?
